If you want to know that<a href=\"https:\/\/visworlditsolution.wordpress.com\/2016\/12\/26\/what-is-yum-and-how-to-create-in-redhat-linux-server\/\"> how to configure yum Server<\/a> so click on my link and look<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-577\" src=\"https:\/\/visworlditsolution.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/02\/proxy-server-c.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"samba server\" width=\"644\" height=\"423\" \/><\/p>\n<p>so here i agree your system in have yum server then we will continue<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Step 1 = we will install samba Server package through this Commands\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><strong>[root@localhost ~]# yum install samba* -y <\/strong><\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Step 2 then we will Create directory for samba server\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">[root@localhost ~]# mkdir ishu <\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Step 3 now we will Create New User For Samba Interface\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><strong>[root@localhost ~]# useradd ishu\n[root@localhost ~]# passwd ishu<\/strong><\/span>\n<span style=\"color:#3366ff;\">Changing password for user ishu.\nNew UNIX password:ishu\nBAD PASSWORD: it is too short\nRetype new UNIX password:ishu \npasswd: all authentication tokens updated successfully.<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Step 5 now we will provide full Permission for user through below Commands<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<pre><span style=\"color:#008000;\"><strong>[root@localhost ~]# chmod 7 ishu<\/strong><\/span><\/pre>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Step 5 then we will gave samba user password through this commands<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">[root@localhost ~]# smbpasswd -a ishu<\/span><\/strong>\n<span style=\"color:#3366ff;\">New SMB password:ishu\nRetype new SMB password:ishu \nAdded user ishu.<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Step 6 Then we will on samba Serves<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">[root@localhost ~]# service smb restart<\/span><\/strong>\n<span style=\"color:#3366ff;\">Shutting down SMB services:                                [FAILED]\nShutting down NMB services:                                [FAILED]\nStarting SMB services:                                     [  OK  ]\nStarting NMB services:<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Step 7 now we will \u00a0off our fire wall and selinux \u00a0below Commands<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">[root@localhost ~]# iptables -F\n[root@localhost ~]# setenforce 0<\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Step 8 now we will look our linux machine ip address through this commands<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<pre><strong><span style=\"color:#008000;\">[root@localhost ~]# ifconfig\n<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color:#0000ff;\">eth2      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 08:00:27:35:57:7A\n          inet addr<span style=\"color:#008000;\">:192.168.56.103<\/span>  Bcast:192.168.56.255  Mask:255.255.255.0\n          inet6 addr: fe80::a00:27ff:fe35:577a\/64 Scope:Link\n          UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1\n          RX packets:392911 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0\n          TX packets:30439 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0\n          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000\n          RX bytes:552717032 (527.1 MiB)  TX bytes:3537248 (3.3 MiB)\n          Base address:0xd248 Memory:f0840000-f0860000<\/span><\/pre>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\">Step 9 then we will go in windows system \u00a0and open Run windows and type jut linux machine ip address\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-576\" src=\"https:\/\/visworlditsolution.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/02\/ip-address.png?w=300\" alt=\"ip address\" width=\"613\" height=\"309\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><strong>Step 10 Then we will enter samba user name and password\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>if you have any problem in this process so comments here i will solve your problem<\/p>\n<p>Thank you<\/p>\n<p>my Vishnu Sharma<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>hello guys today we will learn how to configure samba server in RedHat Linux Server. samba server is a very important in every operating system. &hellip;
