What is DHCP and FTP server ? how to work in cisco packet racer
Hello friends today we will discuss about DHCP & FTP server.when any IT company or organization in use multiple network or computer system thy can’t provide manually ip address every devices .So this type organization is used DHCP server. in most of cases when we connected LAN(local area network or internet then our devices get ip address and other information like submit mask ,its get information through DHCP server .here we will discuss about DHCP & FTP (file transfer protocol ). FTP server is a protocol of file transmitting between internet on computer .we can also also say FTP is a client-server protocol
DHCP SERVER
hear we will look through Cisco packet trace how to work DHCP and FTP server
(Note- if u have Cisco packet trace software u can do practical/if u not have click my link and download ucan also download DHCP and FTP server lab jut click on link )
this is DHCP and FTP server lab screen short

step1-click on dhcp server and open desktop > ip configuration fill ip address 1.0.0.1 then close ip configuration window

step2– then click services option here click on dhcp server >and on servics .

srep3– then click on pc 0 and follow path desktop > click on DHCP then automatically get ip

like this we will follow same process for pc1

FTP server
step1– Here we will look how to configure ftp server so click on FTP server and provide ip address through DHCP server then click ftp server and fill username password

step 3– then we will click pc0 or pc1 cmd prompt . command prompt in type just (ftp ip address like 1.0.0.5 then we type our username and password.
then we will type just(?) and look ftp server commands .we can download upload delet any file through commands.
